Recap on CEFP's Contribution to the Fight Against COVID

The French Entrepreneurs Club of Pondicherry launched an online fundraising campaign during the pandemic to purchase equipment for frontline COVID-19 healthcare workers in Pondicherry hospitals.

The selection of equipment was made in coordination with hospital staff to ensure they could work under the best possible sanitary conditions.

Many French nationals, as well as staff from the Consulate and French institutions, contributed to this initiative. Thanks to the total donations amounting to ₹250,000, the CEFP was able to purchase essential equipment including 500 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits, 500 oxygen masks, and 23 non-invasive ventilation (NIV) masks.

On June 9, 2021, the equipment was distributed to hospitals in Pondicherry, specifically Indira Gandhi Government Hospital and IGMC.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the individuals and institutions who made this initiative possible.
